At times, some people experience what many would describe as levels of awareness or consciousness wherein they are able to be conscious of, and for some, able to communicate with higher unseen positive forces. Even within those higher realms, however, there continue to be various levels of understanding, or awareness, or consciousness. The obvious question at this point would be to ask if such things can be learned, or developed within oneself. It might be interesting to know that there are some people who have actually accomplished that. Many of them, at a certain point in their lives, began to move in that direction by manifesting an interest in reading books on esoteric subjects, or seeing movies that may touch on such subjects. Other people have been introduced to that way of thinking by their family or friends. Those who are seriously interested in such things will find that their reading, their thinking and even their way of living can cause them to be drawn gradually closer to a way of seeing things, a way of understanding things, that can open their minds and hearts in a very positive way. It can actually bring about a more humanitarian outlook on life; a more tolerant and compassionate way of considering others. Some people have even noticed that it slowly brought about a more planetary outlook on their part. It can create within a person the desire to approach life in such a way that they look less and less at serving self and more and more at serving others, serving humanity, serving God. Although it may involve many years of slow, positive change, that kind of thinking and living are almost inevitable manifestations in the lives of those who have learned to open their minds, their hearts and their complete consciousness to the influence of Higher Positive Forces.
For many, this will mean (through meditation and other means) becoming closer to their intuitive sense, their Conscience, their Still, Small Voice Within, their Higher Self. For some of these persons, there may be, somewhere along the way, the beginning of a feeling, like a wonderful "shiver" up and down the spine. It is the kind of "shiver" that can come from viewing beautiful scenery, listening to a beautiful piece of music, or even from experiencing the beauty of compassion and Universal Love that one person can feel for another. This feeling, this wonderful "shiver", has been known at times, to be accompanied by the thought that if we ask a question of our Higher Self, this feeling, experienced immediately afterward, would mean a positive (or yes) response to our question. This is often the way that our Higher Self may initially open the door to a level of communication that can be the beginning of blessings that a king's wealth cannot buy. The communication in that manner may eventually grow to mental verbal communication. As our level of understanding and our level of commitment to service continue to grow, our level of Spirituality grows also. During that time, it may be worthwhile for you to begin to consult your Guide ( your Higher Self) about more and more of your personal decisions (not regarding things that others may want to know, but about decisions that you need to make on a day to day and perhaps even on an hour to hour basis). Don't ask about those things which would be a frivolous use of this blessing of communication with your Guide, but simply ask about those things which you need to decide for yourself throughout each day. It will bring about a greater closeness between you and your Guide that is to be increasingly encouraged. If you don't want or need that closeness, if you aren't ready for it yet, or if your Guide says or indicates in some way that it is too soon, then wait. Otherwise increase it gradually as you get your Guide's approval. For a great many of such people, the wonderful blessing of being able to communicate freely with their Higher Self throughout the balance of their lifetime, may be all that will be needed for this incarnation. A few, however, may need to complete the teachings that are to be given by the Higher Self, and then go on to additional teachings; perhaps from those who would be considered unseen Ascended Masters. Even that great blessing may not necessarily be the end of training and Spiritual development for a few of these Seekers.
This is not meant to be a lecture or a sermon, but to simply point out for some of you, what a few of you who visit here may already know; that consciousness need not be, nor is it intended to be, static. It is intended, in the case of human beings, that they at least have the opportunity to make a choice to be constantly evolving and growing mentally, psychically, mystically, and hopefully Spiritually. Our consciousness can continue to grow far beyond what has been mentioned here, but be aware that such change, such growth, does not generally happen in a few days, or weeks, or months, or sometimes even years. It may take many lifetimes. It is suspected however, that most of you who visit here have already experienced significant previous preparation over many incarnations, or you probably would not have sufficient interest in the subject to visit here at all.
It should be stated, at this point, that should the time come that these blessings begin to manifest in your life, you may be so pleased that you will want to tell everyone you know; to share the news about your blessing with family and friends. May I offer a word to the wise? Be very cautious. They may not at all understand or be as enthusiastic as you think they will be. They could even possibly think that you have become a bit delusional or perhaps in league with some negative religious cult. These kinds of blessings are intended to be very personal in their nature and you may want to consider keeping them that way. Speak of these things to others very judiciously, if at all!
