Let me begin the session of questions and answers by first expressing my sincere thanks to all who have responded and all who will respond to the writings of this website. Your
e-mail means a very great deal to me and has helped to provide some of the inspiration for a number of the later essays that have been written. Your messages have asked, inspired, implored, chastened, informed, guided, scolded, taught, corrected, buoyed spirits and generally given the author a great deal of the incentive and motivation needed to complete and continue to update the website. Please accept my humble and heartfelt thanks. I invite all of you, whether or not you are visiting this website for the first time, to send along your own e-mail comments also. All sincere messages are appreciated.
Now let us begin to look at some of the questions and answers that have been of interest to previous visitors. Perhaps you will share some of their interests.
Q01. HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU KNOW?
A01. One aspect of having this knowledge is certainly due to many years of reading, study, prayer and meditation. Talking to others about their personal knowledge and experiences also plays an important part. How one receives the remainder, a substantial portion of such knowledge however, is not an easy part of your question to answer. I believe that you would be able to reach a greater understanding of what is involved by reading a number of the writings at this website. There are three that would be especially helpful; they are the essays on Meditation, on Consciousness and Communication With Your Higher Self and the essay titled Book List. I believe that after you have completed this recommended reading, you will have no trouble in putting the information together and realizing how one could know such things.
It would also be worthwhile to point out at this time, that regardless of what one knows or finds out over the years, it does not necessarily qualify one to be able to know where and when to say what. It all comes down to the fact that any author of such writings, including this author, is no more than an instrument of the true Source of all things. Please be certain that you do not confuse this that has just been stated, however, with the concept of a practice that has commonly come to be called channeling. The introduction to, the association with and the purposes of those entities who use others on this plane as a "channel" are not the same as that which I described as being an instrument of the true Source of all things. The term "channeling" is generally used to describe a procedure in which some spirit entity speaks through the "channeler". This author does not encourage such communications because they tend to teach the "channeler" and the person consulting the "channeler" to rely upon a source that is outside oneself; a source that one cannot always depend upon to have the "channeler's" best interests at heart. In the case, however, of being an instrument, as I define it, this constitutes having begun one's higher level communication with one's Higher Self (or a Guardian or Guide [of which we have one at each shoulder], and working at that level until we then establish communication with the Higher Self). One then works with the Higher Self until the Lower Self (which is also there) has been identified and until we, through a purposeful process of Spiritual growth, are able to brighten our own inner Light to the degree that our Lower Self can no longer stand the Light and (protesting loudly) leaves us as we release It into the hands of those whose duty and authority it is to deal with It at that point. For as long as we continue to seek to serve and we do not give a higher priority to seeking for self (which can allow the Lower Self to sneak back in), we can safely act as an instrument of our Guide (our Higher Self, et al). It could continue thusly throughout the remainder of one's life, or it may be that one would eventually begin receiving instruction from a yet higher Instructor or Source (Who then becomes the Guide) within the hierarchical structure of Positive Higher Level Spirit Guides. This Spirit Guide (Higher Self et al) / student relationship is the means by which we continue to maintain contact with and act as the instrument of the true Source of all things, which by whatever name we use, is still God. This careful methodical progression of the student that is also described elsewhere on this website, has nothing to do with that which has come to be called channeling.
Q02. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO OFFER THE SEEKER?
A02. You have asked what I have to offer the Seeker, and I must respond by saying that you will find, over time, that there is a great deal more to be found within yourself than I, or any other person, can ever give. However, depending upon where you are along the Path, you may find at this website, information and/or suggestions that could be very helpful (over a period of time) in establishing a level of ongoing communications between the outer and inner person (between you and your Higher Self). The establishment of that communication (no matter how long it takes, or how much patience and perseverance are required) should be a goal for every serious Seeker, because once that communication is dependably established, one no longer needs to depend on someone like me or others who hope to assist those who are seeking guidance from Higher Positive Forces. I believe that there is enough information in these web pages to guide those Seekers who have patience and a sincere heart, so they will be able to eventually establish communication with the Higher Self, especially if they pursue reading from the book list and try to follow the suggestions on that page and the other pages at this website, when those suggestions "strike an inner chord". If you are beyond that point already and are seeking answers to other questions, I will try to be of assistance there also, if I can.
Q03. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
A03. There are a number of reasons why I have put this information on the Internet. A significant portion of it, in one form or another, has been available for many centuries, passed from Teacher to student, or from father/mother to son/daughter. It has also been taught at various so-called mystery schools including the Rosicrucian Order (AMORC), and has been available from books and other sources. In the past, much of this knowledge has been somewhat restricted in its access in the sense that only a few Seekers were likely to be drawn to it with sufficient interest to look into it or study it to any significant degree. More recently however, a great many more people have become interested in matters that are mystical, Spiritual and generally esoteric in nature. As a result of that fact and the fact that our world changed dramatically on September 11, 2001, the time has now come when such knowledge needs to be made more easily accessible to those who are interested. Information that has been somewhat "hidden" now needs to begin to be brought more into the "Light of Day". There are those who need to be made aware that many of the events described in these web pages have already begun to happen in a significant way. I want to make those people who are interested, aware of this and make them aware also that these are not isolated incidents, but the beginning of significant change for our entire planet.. It is true also, that some of the information that is here may not be available from any other source. Because of these facts, and since the information now needs to be made available, and the web pages seemed to be a reasonable way to accomplish that, I have taken the steps to put the information out there for those who are interested and/or who now need to know. I feel certain that anyone, anywhere in the world, who has a need to see this information will eventually have the opportunity to do so, assuming that the information can be kept available here and perhaps elsewhere, for a reasonable length of time.
Q04. WHERE DO YOU LIVE AND WHAT DO YOU DO IN "REAL" LIFE?
A04. I am originally from what is called the Midwest portion of the USA and although I have lived in other areas of this country, I am, for the time being, currently living again in the Midwestern USA. You indicated an interest in what I do in "real" life; I am "retired", I suppose you could say, from the business world. Quite a few years ago, I was involved in some of the technical aspects of the computer software field, but over the years, I have been increasingly drawn to Spiritual matters and a life of service to Higher Positive Forces. I created these web pages with the purpose of making as many people (who care) as possible aware of information that now needs to be made known (to those who are interested) as plainly and as straight-forwardly as possible because of the significant nature of previously mentioned events that have already begun. I now expect to continue working with this and other similar projects until other, additional opportunities to serve make themselves available.
Q05. WOULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN MORE ABOUT THE HIGHER SELF?
A05. If you accept the idea that we have a sub-conscious level of understanding as well as a conscious level of understanding, then perhaps you have already accepted the fact that there are different levels of conscious existence within, that are part of us. One of those levels (the conscious level self) is not necessarily aware of the sub-conscious, even though they are different aspects (or perhaps even different parts) of the same person. If you accept that such a thing can be possible, then perhaps you could further accept the idea that there is a Higher Self, a Lower Self, and a self that is aware at a conscious, physical level of existence. Just as the conscious and the sub-conscious mind are perceived to be different but still are of the same person, perhaps you would also concede that the concept of a Higher, Lower and conscious level self could all co-exist as different aspects (or perhaps different parts) of the same single person. As we experience life on Earth, our levels of consciousness can grow in understanding, bringing about change. Therefore it stands to reason that when we grow Spiritually, and the Light within us becomes bright enough, the lower aspect of ourselves would eventually make the decision to "leave". When that time is right, we then "release" the Lower Self into the hands of those entities who have the duty and authority to deal with it. This does not please the Lower Self, but when the Light within us becomes bright enough, it cannot stay (we should never, however, make a conscious decision to force the Lower Self to leave). The Higher Self, or the Master Within, as some call it, is the sum total of this life (and its experiences) as well as all of our past lives and their experiences, and therefore will express a level of understanding that is appropriate for that sum total. We do not all consciously choose to make the same number of "right" decisions in our lifetimes here and therefore that sum total for one person will not necessarily be the same as that sum total for another. In order to continue growing and learning however, we choose, at a higher level, to reincarnate here to add to our learning (our sum total) through these life experiences. The conscious level self has various opportunities to make "right" or "wrong" decisions. The more right decisions that are made, the more we grow as a conscious level person and as a Higher level personality. The so-called "wrong" decisions can theoretically hold us back; yet is this really true? If we need to be "held back", then it might be better if we made the decision that way to give us a little more time to deal with the situation more perfectly when we meet it again. This is a very complex concept, and in order to help us understand it better, perhaps this is a good point at which to say that it would actually be more accurate if we changed our terminology so that instead of saying that we make a "right" or a "wrong" decision, we say here, that our decisions can take us in one direction or another. One of those directions will take us to our eventual destination more directly, but if we have made the other decision, then the reason for that is probably because we need the extra time to learn more perfectly so we will be adequately prepared when we DO reach that eventual destination.
Q06. HOW CAN I KNOW WHICH PERSON TO LISTEN TO IN SPIRITUAL MATTERS? SOME CLAIM AUTHORITY BY HAVING OR PRETENDING TO HAVE CONTACT WITH HIGHER SPIRITUAL FORCES. HOW CAN I KNOW?
A06. One should evaluate and choose such an advisor very carefully (perhaps just as carefully as one would choose a spouse, a career, a university or a physician). As you have noted, not all who profess to have something worthwhile to offer, have, in fact, something worthwhile to offer. One should feel comfortable with concepts and ideas that one receives from such a person, as well as with the person themselves. It should "strike a chord" within us. If not, we would be wiser, perhaps, to look elsewhere. When the time is right, that which is needed will come to you. There are those who pretend contact as you have stated. There are also some who do not have to pretend their contact with Higher Forces. Such contact however, as real as it is, does not give them authority over anyone. We are all agents of free will, and as such, we are expected to exercise our will to break away from those who are, or who seem to be, insincere. I am also wary of those who ask payment of large sums for their teachings. Ask yourself what Jesus charged for his teachings. It was never money! If you think about what it meant to follow Him however, the price was still so high that many were unwilling to pay it. Don't take this as a blanket condemnation of persons whom you may find to be willing or needful to accept something for what they give, or as a blanket condemnation of all organizations, some of which (the Rosicrucian Order AMORC et al) may give a very great deal (not all of which [printed material, etc.] comes to them without expense) and ask comparatively little in return. These are very different, however, from those who demand exorbitant fees, but who may offer little. One must evaluate carefully and choose selectively in these matters. The goal of such an advisor or organization should be to help you become the best person that you can be and to achieve the greatest Spiritual growth of which you are capable. The surest way for them to accomplish that goal is to help you learn to personally and directly communicate successfully and dependably with your own inner Higher Self. If any person with whom you are dealing (regarding such matters) is unwilling to set that as a goal, you may want to consider looking elsewhere. As I have repeated in my essays many times, this is not a task to be accomplished overnight. If you find that you are not comfortable with those individuals or organizations with which you have come into contact, then until you do find a level of comfort with someone, feel free to use the information at this website for your personal study. I know that it may not seem to be as desirable as working with another person. Nevertheless, there is enough information in these essays to allow one to begin to walk that special Path, and if you persevere (and it may be for a considerable number of years), there will be many who will be helped to that goal just from the information that is here at this website, especially when it is used in conjunction with prayer and meditation. If you study it all, over a period of time, and remember that every piece of information, no matter how casually it appears to have been mentioned, is here for a purpose, it will not be in vain, if your heart is sincere. I believe that if you have need for personal study with another individual, it will come in its own good time. Remember that old axiom, When the student is ready, the Master will appear. Just be certain that the Master that appears, doesn't have both hands out for money. Remember also that there is a Spark of God that exists within each of us. As I have taught in these essays, we can grow Spiritually, and as we grow, we can become attuned to and learn to communicate with our Higher Self (which some call the Master Within). Should there be a need to do so, there may even be a few that will eventually communicate with Higher level Guides (and there are numerous levels) than the Higher Self. Finally, if the need is there, for a very few more, there will be the very special blessing and gift of being able to communicate with God, the Father. I have no doubt that He is not apart from us but that we are inextricably a part of Him just as He is a part of us through that previously mentioned Spark of God that lives within each of us.
Q07. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL IN MY ASTRAL BODY AROUND EVERYDAY THINGS AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO HELP THIS PROBLEM?
A07. Given what you have told me, your desire to travel in the astral body has not been denied by some quirk or for some arbitrary reason. There is a purpose behind it. Ask yourself why you want to do it. If there is some real need for you to be able to do this, then I believe that it will come at that time. Trust those who make such determinations (probably your Higher Self) to know what is in your best interests, and be willing to accept that decision. If you feel that you want to, ask your Higher Self to allow you to travel in that way should you ever have need to do so in order to serve the Higher Self or the Higher Cosmic Forces. In that way, you let the Higher Self know that it's OK with you if it doesn't happen now; you also let the Higher Self know that you are willing to do it later if (through some need) it serves the Higher Self or the other positive Higher Forces, and you reinforce within yourself the idea that what the Higher Self wants is more important to you than what you feel that you want. Consider that you are exceedingly blessed with whatever things you have been allowed to do and try to see it more from that point of view. These capabilities are not some lucky quirky thing; they are a great blessing, as I'm sure you know. They should always be treated as such.
Q08. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PARANORMAL AND METAPHYSICAL PHENOMENA?
A08. In my observations over the years, the words paranormal, metaphysical, psychic, mystical and Spiritual are often found to describe areas of interest which include knowledge, beliefs or phenomena that may involve the same or similar concepts. The differences found between them more often seem to be in the terms that are used (perhaps as an indication of the level of understanding held by the speaker or writer), the questions that are either answered or left unanswered, and the conclusions that are reached. Each of those words could be considered as another successive rung upward on the ladder that leads to understanding. Being at one rung or another is not necessarily a particular detriment or advantage; all the rungs are needed because there are so many of us that are at different levels of understanding due to the degree of previous preparation (from previous incarnations) that we have received. Do you suspect, as I do, that we are each right where we need to be for any particular given time?
Q09. CAN YOU GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE EXPERIMENTS THAT WERE DONE ON PLANT CONSCIOUSNESS?
A09. I have long ago forgotten the details of the experiments that were mentioned
relating to where they were done, who did them, or even when they were done, but the
results of the experiments, I found so interesting that I remember to this day, and I read
about them a good many years ago. A number of plants were placed near each other in a
room. They were wired to electronically measure (and record, I seem to remember) any
measurable impulses that they might give off. A person walked into the room with some
sort of torch (propane, or something similar, perhaps) and turned the flame on one or more of the plants.
That person then left the room. I don't recall if any measurements were recorded at the
time of the burning of those plants, but later, a number of persons walked through the area
where the plants were kept without any unusual activity being measured. The person who
had earlier burned some of the plants, then walked through the room and the measuring
and recording devices registered a very noticeable reaction that was not present when any of the other persons had entered the area. The conclusions drawn by the researcher
seemed reasonable to me at the time I read about the experiment.
Q10. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE GIVING UP ON PEOPLE; NOT VERY MANY OF THEM SEEM TO BE HAPPY. SOMETIMES I FEEL VERY LONELY OR I JUST FEEL OVERWHELMED AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
A10. I am very grateful that you took the time to e-mail your thoughts to me. I believe very strongly that there is hope for us all in this life. I realize though that life can be difficult. We are all struggling in one way or another, but that isn't really as bad as it sounds because one of the very important reasons that we choose to incarnate here on this planet is so we can experience this life, with its good and with its difficulties also. The reason for this is that we cannot learn the lessons that life here has to offer if we never experience any difficulty. Having, and overcoming and mastering life's difficulties is how we learn the lessons that this life has to offer; the lessons that we reincarnate here to learn. If life was only smooth sailing, how could we ever learn to appreciate the calm that follows a storm. WE, on a higher level, choose to come here just so we can learn these lessons of this life, and thankfully, if we miss a few this time around, God gives us another chance and we can choose to come back here in a later incarnation for another opportunity to resolve the kind of problems that have given us difficulty previously.
Your comments really offer all of us something to think about. I know however, that the feelings of loneliness or inner emptiness that we all sometimes experience can be helped by the knowledge that although we may at times become lonely, we are never really alone. Our unseen Guides are ALWAYS there! That which seems to be inner emptiness can begin to be filled when we open our minds and hearts more and more to Truth and Spiritual Light and invite both in! Knowing that we are on a very special journey as a Seeker on the Path, can also go a long way toward leaving behind any feelings of emptiness or loneliness.
It is well known that these changes seldom happen over a short period of time. Nevertheless, positive changes do begin to take place in our lives, and with a good heart, a good book appropriate to our place on the Path, and a prayer on bended knee with bowed head, we can make it even through the most difficult times.
The something we can live for is the knowledge that we are accomplishing those tasks which we have come here to accomplish. Dealing with getting an education, a job, marriage, bringing up children, coping with later life, etc., are all simply vehicles to help us accomplish the deeper reason why we are here; that of learning those needed lessons that this life has to offer!
It would mean a lot to me if you would read through the pages at this website that look interesting to you. I believe that some of these writings could help your outlook by giving you a better understanding of how and why these things happen and how and why we benefit. There is also a poem called "With Woman and With Man" in the poetry section that I believe will help you understand one of the important points that is being made about our lives here. Once you have taken the time to stop and realize why we come here in this life, you can better understand why it is always to our benefit to pray for greater strength, not for fewer problems!
Q11. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT WITCHCRAFT, "SPELLS", THE USE OF WHITE MAGIC OR DIVINATION WITH THE TAROT?
A11. I realize that there may be many who will disagree with me in these areas, and I mean no disrespect or offense to any person when I answer as I do, but a rule that one would be wise to follow is to realize that anyone who is willing to call themselves a witch, regardless of how much they may protest to the contrary, either is trying to fool you or themselves or they don't fully understand all the ramifications of doing so. Let that be a word to the wise. If you will read my web site pages carefully, you will see also, that I don't encourage the use of so-called "spells" or magic of any kind, "white" or "black". There is too much risk in dealing with things not fully understood. You could harm someone else (which would bring karma back to you) or you could get yourself into a situation like that of the young man in the book "Zanoni" who dabbled with things that he didn't even begin to understand and brought himself great misery. If you seek first the right things in your life, then that which you need will be provided. It may not be all you want, but I have found in my experience, that it will be enough. Using "spells" or magic says that one feels one knows enough to alter the natural order of things to be the way one wants them to be or believes that they should be. There is no waiting around to "Let Thy will be done" for that person! If you have seen the movie "The Last Unicorn", you know that the young "magician" had far greater success when he took the approach of saying "Magic, magic do as you will" (Let Thy will be done) than he did by simply trying what he thought would be best. With the Tarot, you have a somewhat similar situation. Divining the future implies that you are in a hurry to find out what is ahead. It isn't always best to have that information in advance. Some of us insist that we want or need a blueprint to know what is ahead; then if we don't happen to like what we find, we decide that magic is needed to change it about to better suit us. This is not the true purpose of the Tarot. Using magic to change our lives is not necessarily the best use of the life that we came here to live and experience. There are essays that mention the Tarot (and some that mention magic) at this website that might be of interest. Once again, please consider a word to the wise.
Q12. WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT HEALING AND WHERE CAN I LEARN HOW TO DO IT?
A12. Healing can be accomplished in a number of ways, including herbal therapy, color therapy, sound therapy, laying on of hands, Reiki, prayer, and many others. These are in addition to the more recently traditional methods used by today's doctors. It is not always wise to recommend one method over another without sufficient knowledge about a given situation (except for the fact that prayer is rather universal). The Higher Self of the person in need will often move that person in the direction of one or another of these methods depending on the nature of that person's needs. Not all may be healed; some may need other experiences and the lessons that go with them. NOTE: It is very risky to oneself to employ any type of healing on behalf of another person without that person asking for your help in some way or being under your authority and responsibility (such as your minor children would be). The only exceptions MIGHT be if you happen upon an accident where people are unable to ask for help. Even then you should take care. Normally though, in the latter situation, when in doubt, help. The reason we must be so careful is because of the fact that if you take it upon yourself to heal or if you have healed, someone who hasn't asked you for that help, you will very likely take upon yourself the burden of that person's karma that has caused the need for healing in the first place. I'm sure there are many books on the subject of healing; some good, some not so good. It would serve most people better, generally, to work on their own personal Spiritual growth. If that is properly done, then other things, like healing, will often become more or less a part of your life (being included as a part of your Spiritual growth) but only as need may exist.
Q13. YOU HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT "ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE, SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND" AND "KNOCK AND IT SHALL BE OPENED TO YOU". THIS DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK FOR ME. WHY NOT?
A13. One of the first things for you to examine is this: What kinds of things have you been asking and seeking and what has been your motivation for doing so? Are you seeking to improve your fortune or increase your ownership of material things? If that is the case, that is probably not the highest path for you, or for any true Seeker. Is there any possibility that ego or anything self-serving or anything that could harm or take advantage of another, might be involved in any way? I don't intend any offense by suggesting these areas of thought, but only to help you to be certain that you are asking and knocking for and seeking the right things for the right reasons. If so, then there are other things that you can consider. You may not be ready for that for which you have asked. If that is so, it is a favor to you that it is not delivered. Later in this life, some of the things may yet come if you have originally asked for the right things in the right way and for the right reasons. There is also the possibility that the thing for which you have asked may seem very appealing at the time, but your Higher Self, or other positive Forces may know that at a later date, you may realize that having it is not in your best interests and They bless you by keeping it away. If so, that is truly a blessing for some of us get that for which we ask and find that we have made a serious error. It may also be that you have expected that your answer would come in a certain form, or from a certain source, or at a certain time when in fact it could have come and gone, being missed because you were focused on one way of thinking of how it would come and it came by another. If you are seeking first to experience Spiritual growth or to have greater understanding of Spiritual things, and such things are your primary motivation to help you to serve more perfectly, then they will come when your Guide(s) know(s) that the time is right.
This may all seem very complex, but the point that I want to make, is that if you seek, ask or knock in a way that is less and less for self and more and more for the sake of serving Higher Positive Forces, and do not place limits on where or when or how your response should come, and then you are willing to "let Their will be done"..... Are you getting the idea? If you are already doing these things in this way (please examine it carefully so you don't answer "I am!" too quickly) then there may be one other method that could help; ask that you be guided to recognize the response or answer that is given to you, or that you be guided to recognize the right path to take, and that these things be done in such a way that you cannot possibly misunderstand what to do, and then be watchful from all sources (keep your eyes and ears open). I will caution you however, that if you take this latter course, the results may sometimes be rather dramatic. I hope though, that this has given you some ideas, and perhaps some things to think about that will be of benefit.
Q14. EVER SINCE I STARTED ON THE PATH, I SEEM TO HAVE NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST THE OPPOSITE. CAN YOU OFFER ANY INSIGHT?
A14. Once we have in some way given ourselves or dedicated ourselves to a life of service to Higher Positive Forces, it can bring change to our lives. When we ask God or the Christ to come into our lives and take us and make us what He would have us be, the changes may, at times, seem somewhat sudden. It is not a casual thing to give yourself in dedication to God in such a way. As I have explained in these web pages, it is a very serious matter. When God or His Higher Positive Forces begin to prepare us for a life of service, one of the things that is usually done is to "clear the slate", so to speak, where our karmic debts are concerned. This then allows us, in the future, to serve unencumbered by this karmic burden. Depending on what we have to be worked through, things can get pretty rough sometimes, even though God will usually try to be as gentle as possible and we should try to learn from all that happens to us at such times. Some people say that their lives seemed almost to be "turned upside down" for a time, while others don't find it to be quite so much that way. It depends on what karmic debts we have. If this is something that you have made the decision to do, or you have, in fact, already done this, then it could explain why you are having the kind of difficulties you are having. If so, patience and prayer and a good heart will see you through. Have patience. So many people don't understand that one of the most important reasons that we reincarnate on this Earth is to experience life's problems and overcome life's problems; to master life's problems to the degree that we, during that process, learn the lessons that are associated with these problems. It is for this reason that I usually recommend to people that they pray about such things. Pray that you will learn all that you need to learn from those things which happen to you, Pray to approach and deal with these problems in accordance with the will of your Guide, (probably your Higher Self) or pray to God to approach and deal with the problems in accordance with His will, if you prefer. You should also resolve to do the best that you can while working through these things and to pray for GREATER STRENGTH, not fewer problems. Finally, try the best you can to approach life with a good heart; meaning a heart that is without hate or anger and that is looking more and more toward service and less and less toward self. If you do your best to do all these things, and do your best to think or do nothing with malice toward any other, and do the best you can to approach others with an attitude of Universal Love, then I don't believe that you can possibly help but be benefited. All of these problems that you deal with successfully and master in this life are things that are then behind you and will not be waiting for you in the next life. Few of us can expect to attain all of these goals overnight, but we can do better as we go on through life. If you are already doing all these things, then you are making more progress than you know in getting these things behind you. Remember that if it were not for the fact that we have experienced every day of our lives in this incarnation, we would not be and could not be the person that we are today!
Q15. I AM A PERSON IN MY 30'S. I AM MARRIED AND HAVE A CHILD. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY PARENTS. DID I REALLY CHOOSE THEM? IF SO, ARE THERE WAYS TO OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM, AND WILL THEY BE MY PARENTS IN THE NEXT LIFE ALSO? THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I REALLY FEEL TERRIBLE ABOUT ALL OF THIS.
A15. Yes, you did choose them; with reasonable certainty, the Higher part of you did so before you were even born. They were chosen because that Higher aspect of yourself knew that it was needed perhaps because you had not been able to resolve problems and difficulties with them in a previous life, so that part of you (that Higher aspect of you) chose them to be your parents in this life so that you would have another opportunity to try to work out and solve problems and difficulties with them that had not been resolved before. Remember that they must also agree to be your parents. They probably (at that same higher level) wanted the opportunity to have another chance to work things out also. I don't recommend that you talk to them about this now however, because on a conscious level, most people have no knowledge of such things, and might easily become upset and/or misunderstand. Since you have chosen to investigate this, and you have begun to have a better understanding of these matters, it will be best if you try to do whatever is reasonable to resolve these problems. Sometimes they cannot be easily resolved. Sometimes we cannot resolve them in this life at all, but we should do everything we can to at least be as blameless as possible in such matters.
You can try to overcome this problem by trying to find forgiveness in your heart for your parents (or in fact, for anyone whom you feel has wronged you). Make the effort to be the best son (or daughter) that you know how to be. Make the effort to have better thoughts toward them, speak kinder words to them and about them, make the effort to realize that your Higher Self chose them for a reason and that It does not make such choices without good reason. Realize that without these people as your parents, you would not be and could not be the person that you are today, because who you are today, was determined in part, by these parents and your association with them as you were growing up. This is not only true for you, but for all of us who grow up in the home with our parents. If we did not grow up with our parents, then that also is a factor and we are then molded by the people with whom we did grow up and mature. It is almost certain to be true that we were guided or "drawn" to them or they to us by the Higher Self of each person involved.
Whether or not they will be your parents in the next life will be decided by your Higher Self and their Higher Selves, depending on how well all of you did in living as parents and children and how well you were all able to resolve the problems and difficulties you encountered. It is even possible that you could be the parent and they could be the child(ren) in a future life in order to help you both see things from each other's point of view. If you can deal with these difficulties in such a way that you become as blameless as possible, from a Cosmic point of view, you may then be able to successfully complete your portion of the karmic interplay with them. If they are not blameless, then they may need to go through these same difficulties next time, but with someone else, since you were able to successfully deal with your part of it. There are many possibilities. There is not much that you can accomplish by worrying about this situation. You will be far better off to instead use your energy to try to do the best you can each day. That's all anyone can do.
We all may have had bad feelings about a situation like this at times, especially if we realize that maybe we haven't done the best that we could in such an important situation. Believe me when I say that you are not the only one who has such feelings or makes such mistakes in relationships with others. Almost everyone has similar feelings and experiences at one time or another. Simply try to do the best you can do to be as blameless as possible (in other words, always try to do the right thing toward the other person) in each situation. Despite our efforts, these situations don't always work out the way we hope they will, but if we try to do the best we can to be as blameless as possible, then what else can one do? You seem to be a person who cares a great deal about such things and that is very commendable. Please allow me to suggest that in addition to trying to be the best son (or daughter) that you can be to your parents, that you also try to be the best father (or mother) that you can be to your own child(ren), and also try to be the best husband (or wife) that you can be to your spouse. If you try to do the best that you can to follow these suggestions for your parents, and take the same approach to your spouse and your child(ren) and frankly, to everyone with whom you have contact, then what more can a person do? That is a difficult task for anyone, and one doesn't succeed every time one tries, but trying your best can help to make you a better, more understanding person in your dealings with others. Who knows, perhaps they will follow your example! I wish you and your family well.
Q16. I READ YOUR ESSAY ON SCIENCE THAT TALKS ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE PLANET COMING TOGETHER EVENTUALLY. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT NATIONALISM MUST BE AS STRONG AS IT IS FOR A REASON. ISN'T THIS SEPARATION OF NATIONS AND PEOPLE FOR THE BEST?
A16. My conclusions are somewhat different. There is no doubt that nationalism is a very potent force around the world. That is the meaning of my statement which said: "We, its people, don't have lines and boundaries drawn all over our home planet, just over our minds and hearts". The next statement in the essay tells us that this attitude must be changed so that we can see our planet as a single entity and ourselves as one people, all children of God. That means that we are all brothers and sisters. The origin of those feelings to the contrary do indeed run very deep, and they will undoubtedly be difficult to change, but change they must, and change they will! The seeds of this kind of thinking were planted a long time ago; consider the concept of the "Federation" in the "Star Trek" series (and obviously, long before even that, by early science fiction writers with similar ideas). What has actually happened in more recent times, with Earth's astronauts, will eventually have even more of an impact as those seeds take root and the ideas begin to grow. In the past, there have been reasons, perhaps even needs for such feelings as are seen today, but the time is near when there will be a far greater need for a true sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among those of humankind, a far greater sense of realization that in fact, we are truly, One. The principle is very similar to that which was taught in the Judeo-Christian Bible by the Apostle Paul in the first chapter of the First Book of Corinthians, beginning at verse 12 and including the beginning of verse 13. There Paul says "Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ Divided?" Also in chapter three of the same Book (I Corinthians) verses 4-10, there is similar chastisement by Paul. Today however, we say "I am Italian, or I am American, or I am German", or Spanish, or whatever the country may be (worse yet, some are now saying, I am Christian, or I am Muslim, I am of the Jewish faith, I am a Catholic or I am a protestant), as if one country or one way of believing should be held above another, when in fact, the people of all nations are God's children in spirit and we have been incarnated in a great many countries and under many different religions in lives past, with each incarnation and its experiences having something important to contribute to the whole of the Spirit of the person, just as each country and its people with their culture and beliefs have something important to contribute to the whole of the Planet today. As we gradually begin to come together in the years ahead (once we have emerged from that long, dark tunnel), then it will be natural for the best and most beneficial from every country, people and culture to become incorporated into a more planetary culture where we understand and are tolerant of our differences and where we acknowledge and celebrate those many areas of our lives where we are the same!
Q17. WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE NATURE OF DREAMS?
A17. Dreams tend to be very personal, and are generally most accurately understood or interpreted by those who have them. Dreams, however, are sometimes out-of-body, so-called "psychic" experiences. If the experience is particularly vivid and the dreamer awakens immediately afterward (rather wide awake), then it is likely to have been such an experience. They don't necessarily reflect the actual happening of an actual event, but are more often a means of giving information to the dreamer. Sometimes the information is more straight-forward and easily understood; often though, dreams use symbols and are not so easily understood. They then need interpretation. This again, is usually best done by the dreamer through meditation and prayer. Perhaps it could even be done by someone whom the dreamer trusts, such as a friend (who is able to do such things). I would generally discourage someone from paying money to another person for dream interpretation. Those who charge (especially those who charge large sums) for such help would often be suspect (for accuracy, and other reasons) from my personal point of view. You may know someone reliable however, so use your own best judgment.
Q18. WHY DO YOU TALK MORE ABOUT THE HIGHER SELF INSTEAD OF FOCUSING DIRECTLY ON GOD?
A18. From a Mystical / Spiritual point of view, generally we would be wiser
if we did not approach the Father directly as soon as we begin our journey on the Path.
The website writings address the more respectful approach of dealing in the
beginning with our own Higher Self. This part of us is also attuned to and is a part of that Spark of God that lives within us all. For many of us, that level of contact will be sufficient in this lifetime. For some (a few) others, they will take the next step (when the Higher Self says it is time) of working with other unseen Guides (which
could be one of those that we have at each shoulder). For still fewer of those people,
when the time comes (and it may take years), they might be introduced to a Guide at a higher level still, and could begin to receive guidance from the Holy Spirit (symbolized by Beatrice in
Dante's Paradiso). Perhaps a few others will go forward further still,
through a planned hierarchy of other high level unseen Guides until the time comes
when they have prepared themselves sufficiently that they are found to be
ready. At that time, they will not need to go to the Father; they will be
invited by the Arch-Angel who takes them by the hand and takes them to
the throne of the Father. The Path to that worthwhile destination can be a long and difficult one.
There may also be variations for different
personalities, but generally this is the road that must be traveled
by those few who should consider themselves very blessed. Please don't
misunderstand however; The Beloved Father has never
turned away from a heart-felt prayer, a bowed head or a bent knee, nor
do I believe He ever will. However, for the sincere Seeker on the
Mystical / Spiritual Path, who is willing to take the long, difficult
road that eventually leads to the highest peak, an approach much like the one
described, is to be sought. It is for that reason that I have taken this
approach in these writings.
Q19. I SEEM TO HAVE BEEN GIVEN A NUMBER OF PSYCHIC ABILITIES (INCLUDING COMMUNICATING WITH MY GUIDE) THAT HELP ME DO SMALL THINGS, BUT THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER PSYCHIC ABILITIES THAT I DO NOT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO AWAKEN, EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THEM ARE QUITE SMALL ALSO. WHY CAN'T I DO THESE OTHER THINGS? I ALSO HAVE A NUMBER OF QUESTIONS TO WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE ANSWERS. WHY AM I HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THAT ALSO?
A19. Believe me when I tell you that the things you describe are no small achievement even though they may seem so to you! Being able to ask and receive dependable answers to even a single question, is a gift that the wealth of kings cannot buy! Cherish and nurture this blessing and ask or pray to be guided to develop it in accordance with the will of your (unseen) Guide (the positive Entity who is answering your questions). Although your question is not reproduced above in its entirety, I note that you have asked your Guide whether or not you "should" do a certain thing. It is good that you ask "should I" because asking "may I" is likely to cause problems, since we are agents of free will and your Guide therefore might tell you that you "may" do this or that, when it just might not be in your best interests to do so. Finding out "What is Your will?" is the best way to approach it with your Guide. Whether you use "Should I" or another equally careful method, it will help you to be certain that you get the answer that is best for you.
Getting the answers (from your Guide) to idle questions just for the sake of curiosity however, will actually accomplish little more than making you feel good about how much you can do. If being able to receive answers to questions that you consider to be important, or being able to add to your psychic abilities are things that you truly need, then you will receive what is needed when the time comes that it is needed. You may ask or pray for what you feel is needed, but be careful what you ask, and be certain that you make it plain that you seek in no way to have your will be given priority over the will of your Guide(s). It is not sought by Them that we grovel; far from it, but be willing to admit that Their knowledge and will for us is superior to our own and realize that if we truly want to serve, we should be willing to subjugate our own will and our lives to the will of our Guide (The Guide being discussed here is an unseen Spirit entity attuned to positive vibrations and One that comes in the Christ Spirit). You must be certain that your Guide is attuned to Positive vibrations and not negative. The web pages will tell you how this can be done. In other words, we seek to serve as instruments of Positive Spiritual Forces.
If getting questions answered just to satisfy your curiosity is of great importance to you, it is possible that you may be guilty of what the Beloved Master Jesus called, "Straining at gnats and swallowing camels". Again, this kind of thing (that we want to know) tends to fall in the same category of special things that you want to be able to do. If you truly have a need to know or a need to do these things, they will be given to you at the appropriate time. Normally however, this kind of information tends to have little use except as something to discuss with people who disagree with you about it. Trust your Guide to provide what you truly need. Remember: "Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you" but do your asking, seeking and knocking through your unseen Guide and do it in such a way that you ask to be guided to the knowledge and capability you will need to do the Will of your Guide; don't hinder yourself by making a habit of asking for information and/or capabilities that merely satisfy your curiosity or that you merely find interesting. Instead, try to become a person who seeks more and more to serve and who seeks less and less for self.
Q20. WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE QABALAH AND THE TREE OF LIFE? THEY SEEM TO DEAL WITH VERY COMPLEX CONCEPTS.
A20. Regarding the Qabalah and the Tree of Life, you are not the first to find them complex. I have heard it said that in one of the well known faiths, they did not allow their teachers to begin studying the Qabalah until they had served in the more normal capacity for as long as thirty years (to allow them to establish a stable, well rooted foundation of knowledge because of the complexity of the Qabalistic studies). It is not an area of study that one would recommend to the neophyte. You would be wise to note and remember during your reading and study, that there are generally considered to be two approaches to the study of the Qabalah. One would be the traditional Jewish study, and one would be the study that considers the Universal Christ, represented generally by the Master Jesus, the Christ. Although there are aspects of both studies that many would consider to be the same, this author has chosen the latter approach. The main components of the Qabalah consist generally of books called the Sepher Yezirah and the Zohar as well as the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life, among other things, is a symbolical way of representing how creation happened, its basic order, etc. In addition, both positive and negative polarity, the two aspects of existence that form the basic building blocks which are the foundation from which the material universe is created, also have symbolic representation. There are other books that you might also find helpful if you are truly interested in studying the Qabalah (two are mentioned below along with additional information), but if I may, I would suggest beginning at the top of the book list on the web pages, and slowly working your way through those first. If you don't remember anything else from the web pages, please remember to take your time. The Spirit Entities that watch over you, (your Guides and your own Higher Self) observe carefully your approach and attitude and will help you go forward when they know you are ready. If you read the website pages carefully, more than once, you are likely to find many answers there that you may have missed the first time through.
As mentioned above, if you truly feel that you need to do more reading or study of the Qabalah, there are a number of books for that purpose. Two of those are: Concepts of Qabalah by Wm. G. Gray and The Mystical Qabalah, by Dion Fortune. I recommend reading judiciously, once you do make the decision to read or study further in the Qabalah. Some of the most important representations made by the Tree, in the opinion of this author, are: Kether represents the God of All That Exists and includes all three Personalities of the Trinity, Chokmah, God the Father (many would probably disagree with that representation of the first two Sephirah), Binah, God the Holy Spirit, and Tiphareth God the Son (the Universal Christ). A Sephiroth is one of the "circles" on the Tree. The Qabalistic "worlds" represent different levels of existence, increasingly more Spiritual or more physical, depending on which direction you're going. Those planets that were known at the time of the beginning of these studies, when the design of the traditional Tree was created by man, were included. The more modern (and more correct) Tree mentioned in the essay on the Qabalah, takes into account planets from more recent knowledge. If you will read the essays carefully, you will find that all of these things being used were included as symbols in order to help teach certain very important truths. A set of Tarot cards was created for that same purpose; so was the study of Alchemy. Many of these are together on the Tables of Correspondences because they are simply different ways of representing these same truths, therefore one symbol may equate to another.
Q21. DO YOU PLAN TO DO ANY ADDITIONAL WRITING? WILL IT BE AT THIS WEBSITE?
A21. If it is God's will, perhaps I will be able to write in some other areas that are of interest to me and I hope they will be to you also. I think that perhaps the website is very near to what it needs to be for now, although I would like to organize the information in the website in such a way that it would lend itself well to a book format, so that those who do not have access to the Internet would still be able to have the information from the website available to read.
Q22. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THE SINCERE SEEKER?
A22. One of the most important blessings that a Seeker can have is to be given the blessing of being able to receive guidance from the Higher Self. This blessing opens the door to guidance that we all seek. Guidance that will point us in the right direction when it is time to make important decisions. The Higher Self will inevitably guide you to the life experiences and decision making opportunities that are necessary to help you accomplish those goals which you have reincarnated here to accomplish. Wanting fore-knowledge or a "blueprint" for upcoming events in our lives is a common occurrence, but not desirable as something to insist upon. I'm not suggesting that you should have no feelings about anything, I'm simply saying that it's best not to give a truly high priority to any desire that you feel may be one that is of a more personal nature, and that may not be from the Higher Self. You may have seen examples in the Judeo-Christian Bible and other writings, of persons who were instructed by a positive higher Power to "go to such and such a city and there it will be told to you what to do". I'm sure you haven't found many examples of the person being instructed, responding by saying "why don't you go ahead and tell me everything now and that way I can go ahead and plan better". That, of course, would be seeking fore-knowledge or a blueprint, where the desired response would be to obey and show a willingness to trust that the rest of the information will come when needed. I will give you briefly some suggestions which you can follow, or not, as you choose, but I believe they will be helpful, if you are someone who chooses to seek the highest path.
1. Work to move your life in this direction to whatever degree makes sense to you: Seek only to serve, seeking very little or nothing for self. In other words, let serving the Higher positive forces (and specifically your Guide, possibly your Higher Self would be involved) be your greatest priority, asking for no "thing" for self that would have a higher priority than your desire to serve. Consider this akin to the idea seek first the right things (without thought of self) and the fulfillment of personal needs will follow automatically.
2. Ask of, or pray to, your Higher Self (remembering that the Higher Self is inextricably a part of the Spark of God that lives within us all) or other Guide, if applicable, and when you pray, pray that you receive guidance to know, and therefore do, the Will of your Guide. If you are not yet receiving direct communication from your Guide and you want to be certain you understand the response correctly, (and if you think you are ready for the results of such a request), you may ask to be guided about these things in such a way that you can not possibly misunderstand the Will of your Guide. Be fore-warned that this can result in the use of a "Cosmic 2 x 4" applied to the side of your head, if necessary, in order to get your attention or get you pointed in the right direction. Obviously this should not be taken literally; it simply means that you may get more than you bargained for when you ask to be advised in such a way. It will, however, leave little or no doubt as to what you should do (if you have asked correctly).
3. Be willing to follow the information that will be forth-coming. This information may come from almost any type of source; through dreams, magazines, books, television, movies, friends, your own ideas, etc.
4. Don't get in a hurry. Take the time (once you believe you have received your answer) to confirm the information received if it is regarding any major or life-changing decisions. Do this by saying to your Guide, in effect, "This is my understanding of what you want me to do. Please let me know if it is indeed your Will, and again, please do so in a way that I cannot possibly misunderstand." Read carefully the paragraph after item number 7 to be certain that you can depend on what you have been told.
5. Try to avoid letting yourself become overly concerned to the point of being dragged down by the fact that life has its everyday difficulties, for they are one of the important reasons why we come here; that is, to meet and overcome the difficulties and obstacles that life presents, and thereby learn the lessons of life that are associated with that particular life experience.
6. Be reminded that because of number 5, above, it is always better to pray for greater strength than it is to pray for fewer problems.
7. Those who guide you (at this time perhaps, your Higher Self) always appreciate a sincere Thank You, especially when it is truly from the heart as a result of your recognition of a particular blessing you have received.
I have a feeling that if you read these over carefully and follow carefully the suggestions herein (especially when taken and used with the other writings at this website), you will sooner or later find that your life has greater focus and direction. You may someday even decide to seek to become One with your Higher Self, giving yourself over completely to the will of your Higher Self (your Higher Self is the true You; the physical part of us is merely the vehicle we create to use as we live and learn in the physical plane). Success in this endeavor (becoming One with the Higher Self) will lead to still higher levels of guidance, perhaps even in this lifetime. Be certain, ALWAYS, that the One which you seek to serve is attuned to the positive vibrations, the Positive Forces, the Greater Light (read the web site pages if you are uncertain as to how this should be done). Never seek to bring harm to another being; if needed however, feel free to protect yourself, but even then, do so in ways that bring no harm to another if at all possible (remember that Yoda told Luke that a Jedi uses the Force only for protection, never for attack). Do nothing which you feel forces you to go against your own "Inner Light", the Spark of God which lives within us all.

It occurs to me that you are probably someone who has read the material in this website because you have a deep and abiding interest in matters that are Spiritual in nature. If that describes you, then I urge you to read on. It is to you that I can now say that, as the author of this website, I, along with my native country, the United States of America and the rest of the Planet as a whole, are all at long last, as this website approaches its twelfth year, beginning to draw near to a major crossroads in the history of the Planet. Which Path we take will determine our future. The Path that the author must take is clear. It is a difficult Path, but it leads to the High Road, which leads to the Greater Light. I must do everything in my power to make certain that my country and the Planet as a whole, follow that same difficult, but crucially important Path, because all other roads will lead the Planet to eventual Spiritual destruction; perhaps even to a world somewhat like the one portrayed in the classic film "Soylent Green", or even worse, if that is possible. This must not be allowed to happen! Putting us, and then keeping us on the High Road will be a difficult and perhaps a thankless task, but a necessary one. I know that the Higher Positive Cosmic Forces will do their part, but there are certain tasks that must be performed on this physical level also. Help will be needed. There may be a few of you who read this who will feel, deep within yourselves, when you read these words, that you have spent your entire life preparing to assist in that work. That beautiful shiver will go up your spine and neck as you read what is written here. It is to those few of you that I now write.
